The surrounding area
San Diego (arguably) has the nicest weather in the US, if you happen to like sub-tropical temperatures, a little sea-breeze, and no mentionable rain for 10 out of 12 months. Although cosmopolitan, San Diego still offers the feel of a small town. It’s very laid back and there are lots of ways to enjoy the city and its surroundings.
In close proximity of each other are attractions like Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Old Town, San Diego Harbor, Seaport Village, Sea World, Catalina Island, and of course a great down town area with lots of restaurants and shops.
