The campground
Visalia / Fresno KOA is situated in the valley, which makes the swimming pool even more enjoyable. Next to special activities that are organized during the summer months, the campground offers a field for ballgames, a horse shoe pit, recreation hall and a playground.
The surrounding area
The main attraction of this campground is the proximity to Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. Within 45 minutes the entrance to Sequoia is reached and after spending a day in this magnificent park it’s only a short drive back to the Tent Lodge. Kings Canyon is accessible by one road only and more suited for longer hiking trips.
Visalia is a charming little town and one of the oldest cities in California. Lake Kaweah, Lake Success, and Lake Shaver are close and offer great opportunities for all kinds of water sports.
